The game employs an advanced upgrade and power-up system that allows you to buy new types of weapons, ammo, armor and batteries as you advance from one level to another. Fighting takes place in five distinct and expansive galaxies, with over 25 different enemy ships types to combat.

- “I have just finished this game and I only played it based on the reviews I read. No, this is not the best shooter I have ever played. You can buy all of your upgrades by the 4th level and the game play is actually a little boring. How hard is it to sit with your left mouse button held down and just avoid some of the bullets fired at you? There are at least 2 immortal bonuses for every level that has any difficulty so you really have no reason to die, ever. I finished the game with 12 lives left over.
