Count Dracula has been kidnapped by the dreadful vampire-hunter Doctor Lifelust! He plans to use vampire blood to create an elixir of life so he can live forever! Now it's up to Dracula's twins, Drac and Dracana, each with their own special moves and abilities, to bite back and save their father in this ghastly platform adventure! Collect blood rubies to gain magic abilities and cast fireball spells as you experience the gorgeous 3D world of Transylvania!

It chooses when to save the game and if you lose a life, you have to start at the beginning. I like that it is pretty challenging and that the controls can be configured to your liking. Historically, the name "Dracul" is derived from a secret fraternal order of knights called the Order of the Dragon, founded by Sigismund of Luxembourg (king of Hungary, Croatia and Bohemia, and Holy Roman Emperor) to uphold Christianity and defend the Empire against the Ottoman Turks. Vlad II Dracul, father of Vlad III, was admitted to the order around 1431 because of his bravery in fighting the Turks. From 1431 onward, Vlad II wore the emblem of the order and later, as ruler of Wallachia, his coinage bore the dragon symbol. The name Dracula means "Son of Dracul".
