» Game Reviews

  • “Like every one else I was expecting a spruced up version of the classic game of life. However, this game really has very little to do with the classic game. Instead it is a game similar to the other dash type games out there. I enjoy those types of games and I have to say that I think this game is getting a bad rap. As far as dash games go, it is a very good one. The graphics are nice, the music is ok and there are plenty of new things being added all the time. It reminds my of my life actually! Doing this and that for everyone ..running my self ragged trying to keep up with all their demands, sad lol but true! Even down to having to cart every one around once you get your car...me and my little peg deserve a vacation :) But all in all I found it fun..maybe I will play as the guy next time and make him do all the work :)” – ItFollowsMe

Did you know that…
LIFE, also known as The Game of Life, is a board game originally created in 1861 by Milton Bradley, as The Checkered Game of Life. The modern version was originally published in 1960 (then "endorsed" by Art Linkletter, with a circular picture of him on the box) by the Milton Bradley Company (now a subsidiary of Hasbro). The game was endorsed by Art Linkletter in the 1960s. It is now part of the permanent collection of the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History. It spawned a book, The Game of Life: How to Succeed in Real Life No Matter Where You Land (Running Press), by Lou Harry. In the REM song Man on the Moon, The Game of Life is mentioned along with other board games.
