- “This game is a direct rip on the Monkey Island series (complete with pirate bar). Even the hero's name, Tombrandt Driftwood, is a reference to Monkey Island's Guybrush Threepwood. The humour is nowhere near as sharp as Monkey Island, and some of the gratuitous background action is frustratingly time consuming when you're just trying to get on with the plot. But, it's charming enough in its own right, and a pleasant diversion for people who enjoy point and click games.” – NAOFEH
